This is something that happened to me on June 5th, 2003. I
just came across it again and I wanted to share it.
And there to my absolute delight, I saw a family of geese. Mother
leading, 3 goslings following and father in tow. Crossing the road, traffic had completely
stopped. Unaware, they took their time. The 3rd little gosling was smaller and had
trouble keeping up, but none of them seemed to be bothered. That's
just the way things were.
As I sat there and marveled at the beautiful and stunning sight, I was
overtaken by emotion. How beautiful it was. I felt fearful for the 3rd gosling.
I wanted to save him as I do all the people that I love and care about. That
is my destiny, but the first I must save is me.
